Seniors have attacked freshers who recorded the ragg given to them
A group of students of the Jaffna University attacked two new students, our reporter said.
The university administration has started an inquiry regarding the incident.
It is reported that the assault had occurred on an incident involving a group of new students who records how seniors ragg freshers .
What is the whole purpose of this mentel and physical torture,endurance and vulgarity called ragging ?
ReplyDeleteI know so many bright undergrads who had left the university studies due to ragging, some very bright students, definitely the future of the country. What I really don't understand is, 72% of this countries population are Buddhists, and the Lord Buddah's philosophy is more towards non violence and yet why is this happening ? Where have we gone wrong. It is the nature of people who are incapable of tolerating others wealth, and misconception about the insecurity of one's own future(i.e they think If you put one person down they can go ahead and win their future. But according to karma it is the other way always)
