A lake in Australia turned in to pink colour

This is how a lake in Westgate Gardens in Melbourne has naturally rose pink.
It is said that it produces red color pigments known as beta carotene by the algas of the algae, with higher sunshine, low rainfall and hot temperatures.
It was changing its colour in the summer season since 2013.
We can also observe these type of lakes in Spain, Canada and Senegal.
