Sunday Mass will resume on May 5th amid tight security

Archbishop of Colombo, Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith stated that the Sunday Mass will resume on May 5th amid tight security.
He was speaking at a media briefing on 29th April at the Archbishop's House in Colombo.

The Cardinal then said:
It is hoped that this will be accomplished through a series of divine mass at various church. We have asked the government for security.
We plan to work with security measures. Police said that they would support this.
In addition, volunteer committees will be appointed in the church. Through this it will be easy to identify all those who come to the church.
By carefully examining the churches, arrangements will be made to ensure that a certain parcel or suspicious goods are present in the surrounding area. Those who attend the Mass do not have the opportunity to take any bag or a parcel to the Church.
